i can't wait... why don't they just do it already?
i have been waiting for a Verizon iPhone for the longest time. i refuse to switch providers to AT&T. so probably once a week--or every two depending on when I remember--i check blogs, computer geek forums, etc. for some insight as to when it would come. so when i read this USA Today article on it, i was all smiles. also, my coworker just told me that her uncle who works for Verizon and/or has an inside contact, says that indeed it is scheduled to come out January. she hadn't read the article here so i count that as two confirmation points. if only it were that easy. but, i have been waiting for like two years so i can wait a bit longer. so close and yet so far.

Iphone is for posers. I have the Moto Droid and couldn't be happier. TONS of apps, verizon quality calls, actual multitasking (unlike old iphones) and no antenna issues (like new iphone). It rocks because it has an actual keyboard to type, instead of smudgy-screen iphone effect. The new droid x even has hdmi to stream movies to your tv and a mobile hotspot to connect you and your friends pc wirelessly to the net. The ONLY feature worth anything on the new iphone is the face app to talk and view at the same time. Even that doesn't work right (check apple support forums). Other phones will come out with that and then iphone won't have anything to brag about.
