nyc

i'm running away to nyc. it's the perfect city to get lost when one needs to be away from all the familiar and monotonous. i will be there for 4 days (thurs - sun). not sure what i will do but as long as i can have some time alone and chill, i think i'll be fine. i don't know why i go through these episodes of wanting to be far, far away from things. it's always been there and probably always will until i find that which will ground me to a place forever aside from complacency.

which reminds me. i just saw Shakira's 'Gitana' video and i love the song. i identify a lot with it and feel just like that right now. the official video is pretty cool but a bit too sexual for vids i want to include here. however, here's a youtube video with the letras. soy gitana... sigo siendo aprendiz.
